Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) Projects
Project Description
Measure C funds have supported several projects to improve the Fresno Air Terminal. These include:
- Maintenance and rehabilitation for the runways
- Extending the primary runway
- Rehabilitating the west apron (a ramp or parking space for the planes)
- A noise mitigation program to reduce noise near the airport
- An expansion of the main terminal (in progress)

What else has Measure C has done for the Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT)?
Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) and Fresno Chandler Executive Airport (FCH) used Measure C funds for important projects. At FCH, they fixed up a taxilane and created a pavement management plan.
FAT used Measure C funds for an aeronautical survey. They updated their noise mitigation program and the noise exposure map. They extended their main and secondary runways. They also fixed another runway and a taxilane. They bought new aircraft rescue and firefighting vehicles. Finally, they finished years of storm drain design and construction.
